A Quick Note on Registration & Changes

Due to the scale and complexity of organizing an event of this size, all registration changes are now finalized. Here’s what participants need to know:

  • The waiting list for both the marathon and half marathon closed on 3 March. Runners who were not offered a spot have already been contacted.
  • Unused registration codes are now invalid and cannot be redeemed.
  • Transferring starting places is no longer possible, including on-site at Vienna Sports World. This option was previously available for a limited time but has now been closed for organizational and safety reasons.

Why Personalization Matters

All starting places are tied to individual runners, including their name, time prediction, and designated start block. This isn’t just for logistics—it’s critical for ensuring safety. In the event of a medical emergency, first responders need accurate participant information.

Personalized registration also helps maintain fairness in race results, especially in an event of this size, where timing and block placements play a key role in the experience.

The countdown is officially on. If you’re one of the lucky registered runners, it’s time to focus, train smart, and get ready for Vienna’s biggest running celebration ever. We’ll see you at the starting line on April 6!
