Wiener Städtische Half Marathon 2025: The 21.1K Journey Is Set

The excitement is real—the Wiener Städtische Half Marathon, part of the Vienna City Marathon 2025 weekend, has officially closed registration after reaching capacity. With thousands of runners ready to take on 21.1 kilometers through Vienna, this year’s edition is set to be the biggest half marathon in the event’s history.

The race takes place on 6 April 2025, and it’s going to be one for the books—whether you’re aiming for a fast finish or simply soaking up the city’s energy alongside fellow runners from around the world.

Final Registration Update

As we move into the final stages of event planning, here’s what participants need to know:

  • All entries are now final. No more updates or changes to existing registrations can be made.
  • Unused registration codes are invalid and cannot be redeemed.
  • The waiting list closed on March 3, 2025, and all affected runners have been notified directly.
  • Transferring your entry is no longer possible, even during Vienna Sports World. While this was available earlier, it is now officially closed to ensure event flow and safety.

Personalized Bibs = Safer Racing

All start numbers are assigned individually and linked to your personal details, estimated finish time, and start block. This approach is not only key to organizing a smooth race—it’s vital for your safety.

Should medical assistance be required during the event, having accurate runner information helps ensure fast and correct care. It also protects the integrity of timing, placements, and race results.

For this reason, entries are strictly non-transferable after the set deadline.
